BSD
This updates the article at:

BSD for Not Yet Techies

On April 19, the NetBSD Project announced the release
of version 2.0.2. This fixes a lot of potential stability
and security issues. BSD is progressing on a sort of
steady, unorganized basis, which is standard for open
source software.

Nobody or no companies own BSD, so it's worked on by
groups of programmers and developers on an informal
basis, driven by their desire to be part of the tides
of IT history.

OpenBSD is on version 3.6, since October 29, 2004. They
are planning to support wireless device in 3.7.

Current version of FreeBSD is 5.3, from November 2004.
