Assembly Language

Trying to get news and updates for assembly language
is similar to asking for news and updates on a
granite mountain. If it hasn't been at least
several centuries, why even bother? Assembly
language remains strong and stury under operating
systems and higher level languages.
Basically, nothing can and does happen with assembly
language except that it must be expanded with
different CPUs of different computer models and
different operating systems.
But all the new developments come at the higher
level languages. The machine keep becoming more
more powerful, but the principles behind the
hardware remain the same.
Therefore, so does assembly language.
