SQR

Structured Query Reportwriter / SQR was owned by
Brio Software, who branded it as Brio SQR.
Late in 2004, Brio Software was taken over by Hyperion
Solutions, Corp, so it is now Hyperion SQR. the latest
release is Structured Query Reportwriter / SQR 8.3.
PeopleSoft bought the rights to use Structured Query
Reportwriter / SQR and uses it in some of their
products, as its main SQL processing and reporting tool. Now
that is now controlled by Oracle, which presumably
will keep it.
It is still the high class language for enterprise
reporting, with more than 35,000 developers around
the world.
