Nortel currently has 3 levels of certification:

Specialist
Expert
Architect

There are 3 categories of Specialist:

Certified Technology Specialist -- NCTS
Certified Design Specialist - NCDS
Certified Support Specialist - NCSS

The same categories are available at the Expert level --

Certified Technology Expert -- NCTE
Certified Design Expert -- NCDE
Certified Support Expert -- NCSE

There is only one Nortel Certified Architect -- NCA

The Nortel Certified Technology Expert / NCTE certification is
available in the following technologies:

None as of this writing.

The Nortel Certified Technology Specialist / NCTS certification
is available in the following technologies:

None as of this writing. Real Time Networking is scheduled
for February 2005.

The highest level is Nortel Network Certified Architect / NNCA.

You must complete an application verifying your experience and skills.

You must have either the Nortel Certified Design Expert / NCDE or
Nortel Certified Technology Expert / NCTE certification.

You must complete a real life exam testing you with a networking
problem. As of right now, they don't have that exam available.
