CGI
This updates my article at:

CGI for Not Yet Techies

Not much to say here. CGI is still an extremely
common way to make webpages interactive.

However, it is facing stiff competition from newer
technologies such as PHP and ASP.NET.

It still provides a basic framework and terminology
for installing Perl scripts on a web server,
processing information in web forms etc.

A lot of CGI programs are still being written and
are widely available on many CGI and
programming websites.
