On Porsche mats
It's a weird thing to see an AP picture of a typhoon and notice its location is not far from where you stay. Typhoon Nanmadol is described as hitting the Northern Philippines. I guess that includes where I am, since even though I'm south of Manila there's still a lot of miles of Philippines south of me. But apparently this location is as sheltered as I once read, because all we've gotten is a lot of rain. Not even any power blackouts yet. One of my kids was in a school singing contest yesterday and that was held. Other kids are in a school program today, so I hope that is being held. As I now recall, there was wind last night, but nothing damaging, not like a lot of storms I recall in St Louis area. Still, this wouldn't be the time to be driving around with porsche mats, in an expensive automobile.
